2009-2010 Ski Resort Opening Dates: Who will be the next to open?
Posted on: October 27, 20094 comments so far (is that a lot?)
With all of the snow coming down pretty much all over the place (awesome!), which resorts will be next to open for the 2009-2010 season!? We thought we’d compile a list for you, so you can plan your early-season skiing and snowboarding trips.
With temperatures diving and more snow on the way, look for some resorts to open their doors earlier than expected. But of course, double check these before you head out! At the Vancouver “In Deep” Movie Premiere last night!
Posted on: September 25, 2009No comments yet
So I made it out to the premiere of In Deep last night in Vancouver, Matchstick Productions’ latest and greatest. It was great to see a sold-out crowd there to catch all the action and of course, to honour the life of Shane McConkey.
Even though I didn’t win any free swag, it was still a great time, and the movie is definitely a must-see! The segment/tribute on Shane McConkey was pretty special and touching. Star athletes from the movie were on site to sign posters and meet and greet fans, friends, and partners. Athletes included Mark Abma, Sean Pettit, Eric Hjorleifson, James Heim and Hugo Harrisson.
“In Deep” will be touring the Canada, the United States and the rest of the world for the next three months and is available on DVD and Blu-ray disc. For more information visit http://www.skimovie.com.
I have to say, with all of this snow porn coming out now, it’s easy to say that winter is just around the corner! You’ll find the SnowFlix Crew at Whistler next Friday, October 2nd, for TGR’s Re:Session premiere, and we’ll be throwing around some stickers and crap like that!
Click here to watch the In Deep trailer now!
